It seems like it takes less time with every set release to get the banned list discourse started. Combined with WotC’s propensity for actually listening to this conversation, I thought it might be useful to talk about the thought process behind the most common reasons for banning cards. Does the card enable too many broken things, or does it just pay off too many different things?
